Jahziah Smith
My name is Jahziah Smith. I started at NTI, July of 2020. I first started with the CompTIA A+ program. And then as I completed that, I moved on to the CCNA.
So what attracted me to NTI was just the I was originally Transend IT. And I just really wasnt feeling it. And my mom actually found about found out about NTI and introduced me to it and I needed something to get into to and get started.
So right now I’m a field engineer for Delta Airlines. How that pertains to NTI helped me with that, just by putting me in place to get those certifications and get job experience. So before I was doing Delta Airlines, I was working at DRC. And that was just my first experience was basically just customer support. And that helped me get the Delta job just just by experience.
Yeah, I would recommend NTI to anyone else who’s looking for a job or interested in it. Just simply because, Im not going to say its an easy process, but it’s a different route than college and it can set you up to get a good paying job of decent paying job. And that’s pretty much it.
So what makes NTI different from any other school, I’ve only been to other one other school, IT school and that was Transend IT. Transend IT was more self paced, self guided, self study. NTI we had an opportunity to come into class and do presentations. Instructed kind of like a normal class like how he would do presentations. We have homework, we have labs, and we do dates versus Transend IT was more self paced self guided and wasn’t nothing’s really scheduled.
