Basic Computer Training Program (5 day Bootcamp)

Introduction to Microsoft Office is the first step toward earning the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification. NTI has partnered with Labyrinth Learning to provide basic training to students who wish to prepare for one of the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Exams shown below. Each student receives a “Course Code” and a “License Key” to access the Labyrinth Learning “Essential Computing Skills & Building a Foundation with Microsoft Office 2019: The Basics” Online Course Module. This intensive Instructor Led Course Module provides an in-depth look at the most relevant topics in the four (4) Office 2019 applications shown below. Following several lessons on each application, the textbook concludes with a comprehensive, capstone integration project that incorporates skills from every application. Knowing how to use these applications is critical in today’s digital world and those who don’t are left behind.

Content focus is on critical, job-ready topics and tasks, with a relentless focus on practical, real-world skills and common sense as well as step-by-step instruction to ensure that students stay engaged from the first chapter forward. Students move through increasingly independent exercises. The print textbook comes with a dynamic, engaging, and fully interactive ebook with embedded videos, Self-Assessment quizzes, and slide shows. The eLab Course Management Tool keeps track of Assessments and learner activity.

Student will learn Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), all about Email (Outlook, Webmail, Exchange), access to Cisco Online Get Connected (Internet, wireless, E-commerce), Operating Systems (Windows, iOS/MAC, Android) and Typing (EduTyping – 35 WPM).
